After hearing Rihanna's new single Russian Roulette for the second time, I am now convinced that this is the most brilliant song of 2009. First time around, I wasn't entirely sure (probably not aided by my reading of Twitter comments), but I now 100% believe that this is an "Unbreak My Heart" for the 21st century. Though I still don't like the unecessary gunshot at the end.

This song is no "unbreak my heart". You are joking right? This is more
like a "I love the thrill of my bf beating me up" song. And for that
reason, this song will never hit number one. It will be short lived on the
radio. Seriously, who the F wants to sing this song in their car???? I don't
want to sing about being terrified but not leaving!!!! If I am terrified of
something, I don't stick around! Who does that? Insecure, helpless, idiots.

So what if the theme of this song is surreal? It's a great song and I really
don't see what the fuss is all about! Rihanna is a great singer, she has been
going through a hard time lately, and if writing songs helps her cope, then let
her be it! Give the poor woman a break! :@
