Towards the end of last year, the Light Graffiti Cars team announced their retirement from creating the innovative images of iconic cars – leaving light painting fans all over the world feeling heartbroken.
But after growing tired of the life of luxury, and having consumed one too many piña coladas, the team, entrepreneur Marc Cameron and photographer Mark Brown, reconvened in a top secret location to discuss their next project. This time it had to be bigger and better than ever before. This time it had to be truly epic. This time it had to be the ‘Light Graffiti Cars hit London’.
Previously photographed at unknown areas somewhere in the Cotswolds, Cameron and Brown plotted the fourth series of the Light Graffiti Cars would be shot at iconic locations in the Big Smoke, with the cars featured having to be the most visually-stimulating, stunning rides of recent times. First stop, the BBC!
Under the cover of night, the dare devil duo (affectionately known as “Camerown”) broke past BBC security (we’re slightly exaggerating) to recreate the Ferrari FF – the house of the Prancing Horse’s first ever SUV - and the Alfa Romeo 4C concept in the grounds of the Beeb’s stunning White City location. More specifically, right outside Top Gear HQ.

Faster than you can say “Jeremy Clarkson is a love god” the ambitious pair were gone, but captured on film for forever were the images of these iconic cars at the former location of the Olympic White City Stadium (one for the history aficionados among you).
As if the BBC shoot wasn’t already enough, Cameron and Brown moved on to other iconic London locations, photographing the Pagani Huayra at City Hall, the Range Rover Evoque outside the Houses of Parliament, the new VW Beetle down that tunnel where they filmed Coldplay’s single, “Fix You”, the Porsche 918 Spyder somewhere near Southwark Crown Court, the Mastretta MXT on Tower Bridge, and the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento by the Gherkin. Mind-blowing is not the word!
With the fourth series done and dusted, the boys are now looking forward to creating the fifth series of the Light Graffiti Cars in the not too distant future. Next stop, New York City!
